"Our Apophenia,"
Where meaning blooms in the seemingly insignificant.
An innovative multimedia art installation that invites you to explore the enchanting realm of pattern recognition. Immerse yourself in a three-dimensional, interactive exhibit that goes beyond our social circles and delves into the intricate tapestry of our collective existence in the stunning Pacific Northwest.
Witness the astounding connections that bind us and marvel at the power of gratitude in bringing us closer together.
Visitors are encouraged to find their "personal connection" etch their sentiments on paper. Something, someone, some place or a feeling they are grateful for in Seattle.
The artist will trasnfer them to a simple white strand.
These individual textiles, now imbued with personal meaning, are then intricately woven into the structure in any
desired orientation. Like threads of a web, they initially span the full length of the sculpture, gradually shortening
week by week.
Visitors can watch the web of personal connections as it evolves with time, drawing deeper into a tapestry of
gratitude and connectivity. Engulfed in digital art created on-site and footage captured throughout the Pacific
Northwest, the sculpture becomes a living, breathing testament to our shared journey.
Each week the sculpture comes alive with digital art and captivating videos I gather around the PNW, expertly
projected mapped onto its surface.
Weekly, video content of the projection mapped piece can be hosting on a TV, video wall or screen with projector to show the public the evolution of the art journey we are taking together.
And to show in daylight, what will happen after dark.
In a final exhibition, the projection mapping takes an exhilarating turn, incorporating all the weekly video content
with multiple projectors transforming the space into a boundless realm of connection.
TLDR: Come express something that makes your grateful about Seattle; a person, thing, feeling or place. I will transfer your gratefullness to strands which will create an ongoing webbed like sculpture. Each week it will be projection mapped with video content gathered in the PNW.
