Call for Light Art
for the
LUSIO Lights Festival
at Mary Olson Farm in Auburn, WA
Aug 18 and 19, 2023
Call for Art is open
March 1st, 2023- April 15th, 2023

The annual LUSIO festival features light artists incorporating their art directly into acres of glorious nature for thousands to explore. Previously at Volunteer Park, we've moved onto the gorgeous Mary Olson Farm as it allows us to expand to two nights of lights.
The Mary Olson Farm is a PNW oasis of subsistence culture and history along the bustling Green River Road and is operated as a partnership between the White River Valley Museum and the City of Auburn. It is said to be King County's best preserved subsistence farm and hosts a 100 year old barn, livestock, farmhouse, creek, and orchard.

The festival runs 7pm to 11pm each evening, is free, and open to all ages.
All mediums of light art are encouraged to apply.
What is considered "light art"?
Art in which light is the main medium of expression. Either the art produces light, or light is used to create the art piece through the manipulation of light, colors, and shadows.
