Light Work

Calling all VJ's, ightworkers, light artists, & light enthusiasts! This nights for you.

"Light Work" is a meet up for light artists with a featured artist show and tell format. We'll begin the night with a show class featuring light artists and VJ's from around the PNW who are ready and able to share their knowledge with you. After the class, we'll commence a regular meetup/hang out for VJ's and light artists, and electronic musicians to connect, network, and collaborate on future projects.

EVERYONE CAN ATTEND. You don't have to be a light artist, just interested in it. :)

SHOW AND TELL

7:00-7:30 ish

Spacefiller will joining us as the featured artists to show and tell us about his process and be open to questions. SPACEFILLER is an artistic collaboration between Alexander Miller and Alexander Nagy and they have presented their work for us fir Lusio 2017 and recently at the Volunteer Park Conservatory for Lusio Lights.

They may event set up their interactive prototype of our ALGOPLEX II installation for us to play with! Come say hello and chat with Alex and Alex about their progressive art forms and journey thru light art.

7:30-9pm

Meet and greet and hang. Bring your own light art piece, project, or come to connect with a VJ for your music. This is a space to foster connections and ideas around light art and electronic music in the PNW. Come connect with your fellow artists.

BYOB for 21+ participants

Light snacks and light sounds will be served.

Suggested donation $5ish-$10ish or whatever you can swing :)
